Been six months since my last update. alot has happened since then...
Although reading my last update i had mentioned that i had another laparoscopy; well until just recently i wasn't needing any strong pain relief. for the last two months i have been through a rough patch with my endo and it's been very hard to cope with the pains. Panadeine Forte (aka: Co-Codamol for those of you reading that are based in America) has been like the only strong pain relief that i've been able to obtain through the doctors as apparently 'no visible endometriosis was found during my last surgery' although i find it extremely hard to believe as why would they find 'none' if i have been previously diagnosed with it before?? seems weird.. maybe they're too dumb to not quite know what they're looking for.. anyways i have a new partner since May this year as things weren't working with my previous partner whom i haven't been with since March this year.. it would have been our 3years in March but yeah as i said; things weren't working out. he actually didn't want to have any children to me until after 40 years of age, yes i know he was 36, but that isn't fair on me seeing as he knew that it's something i wanted eventually but not too much further down the track, and yeah failed to tell me that until it was what broke things up, i really want to be able to have a family sometime soon, but that wouldn't have happened if we continued so we mutually broke up to save ourselves the horribleness of continuing a relationship that would eventually break down to crap. i hope i can have a child, despite having endometriosis, i will keep those of you in the facebook group 'Endometriosis Support Group' updated on where things lead to re: my endo and possibly trying for a baby in 5-6months time.
Until next time..
Kaitlyn :)

January 2012 Update
Haven't been updating like i was gonna. I got a phone call in December for to have surgery. It went really well apart from a small complication- they accidently tore a hole in my uterus & had to seal it shut. I have healed up quite well from my surgery. There are private photo's on my Facebook page to be shared apon request only with my endo sisters.
I had some devestating news in December, i got an inbox on Facebook after my cat 'Flash' went missing and they found him about 2 blocks away on the road. Poor lil guy, wasn't even a year old yet.
Any questions anyone has about my surgery you can inbox me: kjtaylr@hotmail.com

End Of November Update
Went to my pre-admission appointment the other day, got blood tests done, weighed, got alot of paperwork filled in and spoke to doctors/nurses about the procedures i am getting done along with my laparoscopy. i might be staying in overnight afterwards depending on how the surgery goes, depending on how much pain im in after the surgery and what their opinion is on how it went.
In general im about to go through the 'dreaded week' and the pain levels have already increased to the point of needing strong pain relief.. I also feel a sense of needing to be away from people as im sore, moody, emotional, and having trouble understanding how i feel about things and how to react about things and just in general feel insecure somehow and don't know why.
The pain is only just bearable even with pain relief, i'm sick of waiting for the surgery date phone call/or letter, the nurses strike thing has messed up alot with surgeries being delayed, beds being closed/unavailable, and yeah not good, probably gonna be stuck waiting until january for surgery as it's already the very end of november and they dont do surgeries in december unless its a catagory one, meaning urgent, so im sure i will end up with the end of january to be scheduled.. sick of waiting and it wouldn't matter how often i went into the emergency dept in the hospital as they class my condition as catagory 2 meaning 1-3months usually 3 because of the long public waiting list. will update again next month most likely. and btw my b'day was good.

Been sore everyday except had one pain-free day last week, was nice for to experience. I have a pre-admission appointment later this month as mentioned in my last post.. Hoping for a surgery date soon, i don't wanna be in this much pain, i already dislike taking strong medications..

Another Update..
Been booked in for a pre-admission appointment at the hospital on the 22nd of November for Anesthetic & other pre-arrangements for my surgery.
Also been having issues with my lactose intolerance; nausea, vomiting, indigestion & heartburn.
Also asthma attacks & allergies are quite frequent with the weird weather changes here from raining-windy-hail-freezing cold-then really hot weather :P not liking it as it makes my endometriosis play up more. The lower back pains are quite frequent with my other pains.. will update again next month..

Orthopaedics Appointment 1st September 2011
Left & Right Knee Medial Feuero -Patellar Plica Syndrome (Squduitis)
Vastus Medial Obliqus Dysfunction
X-rays showed up as normal as its tissue inflamation damage.
Will attempt Physiotherapy after being placed on the referral list tomorrow
and if that is unsuccessful then there might need to be operative medical intervention
to cut out part of the medial ligament in order to correct the 'J'sign in the left knee.
